With an increasing number of entertainment interests in the locals and with a demand of international guests in the city, Addis Ababa offers closer to 40 cinema and theatre halls in several spots of the city.

These halls hosts’ local theatres, frequently releasing Amharic movies, and some of the cinemas screen movies from Hollywood from on the same date and time of their release. Mostly these cinemas are open in the afternoon from 2pm and it will last longer till 9pm. Welcoming with an average of 500 hundred people per movie, they are well equipped with sound system, screen quality and cafeteria service inside the center.
