Ethnographic Museum
Genete Leul palace, now the principal university building is one of the early modern palaces which were built in the mid 1930’s and served as a central palace up to 1960.
In 1963 the main building was transferred from power center to knowledge center to host the Institute of Ethiopian studies (IES). The Ethnographic museum is divided in to two sections; the ethnographic and art gallery section. It is located inside Sidist Kilo University compound.
