Nur Mosque
The original modest building stems from the end of the 19th century and was the first mosque to be built in the new town of AddisAbaba.
It was demolished in 2005 to give way for a newly built mosque at the same location. The new mosque has two high towers and a large central praying hall. It is located at of the commercial center of Arada/ Piassa (Benin sefer) and it still is an important place of Muslim worship in the city.
